     The recipes are somewhat complex but the book will serve as a good resource
     for ideas and for understanding some components of meal preparation.

Purpose:  "This cookbook is intended to be a step-by-step manual to
aid those 
     adults who are unable to use traditional cookbooks due to mental or
     physical handicaps of varying degree or some type of learning disability.
     Its purpose is to outline in graphic form fundamental cooking techniques
     and thereby help those who use it to become more self-sufficient."
The recipes provided are divided into foods one eats for breakfast, lunch,
dinner using pictorial illustrations. The steps needed to complete the food
item are depicted clearly.
