We havent got paid yet Port Hudson, Louisianna May 13, 1864 Dear father, it is with the greates of pleasure that I send a few lines to you to let you _________________________ still here to Port Hudson. Whose the ___ qute had ____ runs___ A person _________ We expect _______ they _____ every day. _______ _______ ________ _____ quite warm here ____ is impossible for ____________________ Father ___ sends his best respects to you. ___ ___ better than I did ____ night. I just had a very good supper. We had some warm ___ cheese and tea. I think they made a very good supper
