     Already considerable has been accomplished on two of the
projects the organization has sponsored; namely, the better bull
program that has already been described above and a program of
parasite control in horses.
     Recently eight meetings were held in the County at Farmington#
Lind, Weyauwegai New London, Manama* Bear Creek, Embarrass, and
Marion to discuss the problems of controlling bots and worms in
horses.
     SeventyL-five school districts are now being canvassed by
local interested persons to secure the names of horse owners that
are interested in getting their horses treated.
     A substantial reduction in price of having this work done is
being offered IV the County Veterinarians where it is carried out
on a oommunity basis and a number of horses are treated in each
school district,
     In addition the Livestock Breeders Association has taken the
initative in co-operating with the County Agent's Office in design-
ing and building a Dairy float to take part in the Dairy Parade
that was held in connection with the State Fair at Milwaukee this
fall.
     Funds for the Waupaca County float were contributed by the
County and Clintonville business men.
                      OHM IMPROVEMENT
     - Potato growers secured seed from outside sources,
     - Seed grain and corn inspections were made,
     - Five farm institutes were held.
     - Grasshopper and cutworm control.
                          Potatoes
     Waupaca County potato growers have been submitted to unusual
difficulties during the past few years.
     High temperatures have been favorable for the development of
diseases that have affected both the quality and the growing of
potatoes. In addition, absence of necessary rainfall has greatly
reduced yields,
     "Yellow dwarfsU which Is a comparatively new disease, has
