TIRAS8ACTION9S WITH ACCOMPANYING PAPERS AND DISCUSSIONS OF THE Wisconisn Dairymen's Association AT THEIR FORTIETH ANNUAL CONVENTION Held in Beloit, November, 1911. ADDRESS OF WELCOME By MAYOR L. B. CUNNINGHAML OF BELOIT. Members of the Wisconsin Dairymen's Association: Gentlemen: It is a great pleasure for me, in behalf of the members of your association In this city as well as the citizens in general, to extend a very hearty welcome to you to Beloit. I have watched with great pleasure the ever Increasing importance of our state as a dairy center. I have watched the work of the state university reaching out Into all the corners of the state with helpful instruction to the dairy- men. The work that this association does has a direct bearing on the welfare of all the citizens of the state. Better bred cattle and more sanitary conditions about the stables, mean pure milk and better meats. Your association has accomplished much in the past forty years of its organization and I am sure that this convention will bear a very marked influence on the lines of advancement In dairy farming. Wisconsin has sent a cow to the capital at Washington. Some day we may send a president there. I thank you.
