             IV. PROCDURP, IN D7VELOPING RESETTI!MEWT LANDS
       Much of the preliminary vork in determining the procedure in
 veloping resottlement lands has been done. The development of the Cassian
 rm Unit, Oneida Countr, in Septembor 1934, provided the essential back-
 ound of information on which the following procedure is based.
    Labor Requirements.
        Labor requests for allotments under Works Progress Administration
   ficient to com-letely develop all properties olanned for ourchase have
 lready been made to the National Allotment Board. These requests involve
 total of $1,360,570.00. All of this would be spent for security wage re-
 ief labor. Supervision of all development work such as lnd clearing, well
 illing and building construction would be financed by the Wisconsin Aural
 settlement Division.
    Building Meterials, Land Clenring Thuioment and SunDlies.
        All material, equipment and supplies would be furnished by the
 isconsin Rureil Iesettlement Divisi-n, for which anoroxinately $1,200,000
would be set aside. There is available from materials cut and prepared by
transient labor, and from funds advanced by the former Mural ~ehobilitqtion
Division of the Emergencyr Relief Administration sufficient logs and lumber
to partially construct and equio t-ent- units of homes and frrnrm buildings.
3. Specifications for New Farm Units.
        The specifications given below are avernge requirements for each
form unit and may be increesed or decreased in special cases by the County
