SUPERINTENDENT C. F. HEDGES Superintendent C. F. Hedges came to Neanah high school as a teacher of science in the year 1917. Mr. Hedges was born in Bradford, N. Y. He got his high school edu- cation in Bath, N. Y. After graduating from high school he entered the Superior Normal. He graduated from there and then taught for a short time. He then enrolled in the University of Wisconsin. He grad- uated from the university in 1912, and since then he has attended sev- eral of the summer sessions there. Mr. Beeman was superintendent of the Neenah schools when Mr. Hedges came here in 1912. In February, 1917, as a result of the death of Mr. Beeman, Mr. Hedges became the superintendent of Neenah public schools. Whenever an occasion arises, Mr. Hedges can give instruction in the various studies in a very irteresting and beneficial manner. Superintendent Hedges has piloted Neenah high school through many a storm and calm, and we hope he will be with us for many years more. a' Page Seven a' En
