'y dear Ada: Your (otter caeme last ni ght an T immediately sent the notices to the -ilwaukee and vedison papers. Have not seen any of them yet. The letter from "rs. Hoyt came today, forwafded from Milwaukee, where it went first. In it she said that they had quoted from a seech ,made by 7rs. Benedict in New York. If they quoted they did not indicate in any way that they did, nor did they give the date. I think they plainly meant to misrepresent things and I believe w3 can show it. However they may try to make trouble about it for the fight isn't over yet, as they sure- ly know. That's one thing 'hat I am glad about, that they can't fold their hands and think the battle won, but have to hustle aroun4 again to be defeated the next time probably and they must know it. I wish we had an exact copy of Crystals speech. I wonder where we could get it. Any tie YO co001-e t don you will be doubly a!d tripty welcome. Yother would love to have you come because she as 1heard so much about you and for some strange reason thinks you must be nice. Do I have to pay 77r. dz*xx Randolph at once. If so I can't for we have after all our trouble to prevent it, a t-roublesome deficit. Our bills up to date are $274.16 and the amount owed to us is $174.31. The ?Tational can wait to be paid but it makes $193-.81 which must be payed before the end of the month. And if the county leagues dc not pay up their debts to us, it will be a great nuisanaen to say the least. However you needn't bot[ er about this because I am putin- it up to the advisory council to raise enough money to pay the indebtedness. However if we car, wait to pay .r. Randolph or i; Richlanl. Center could pay him,(was it #he Richlain Ce ter speech that we cue hi> for), it would take one care off my mind. When we meet to re-organize, we can probably raise enough money to pay yr. Youmanls, the 17ational and r. Randolph. I havn't heard anything about the 2Iew York parade so far have you. I had a lette from Crystal which she wrote on the way to Hlew York. There are a number of ±k thin -s to atten3 to so I mustn't write more as ::uch as I feel tempted to do so. iuc4much love. ,
