My ever dear _____

House to commune with you for a few moments.
This afternoon I went to buy _____ and just as I was
leaving _____ handed me your letter. I see the ____ post mark
27th so it has come in a little over 2 1/2 days. I was very glad to hear
from you and to find you are well, as I expected you to be.
I am buying a great lot of goods, both good and cheap
and the Boss must be ready to sell them to good customers.
The first of them will leave today.
I expect to leave here next wednesday morning and reach the Pt on
Friday evenig, you will send for me. Perhaps Edwd or John
will come. I suppose you read the letter I seny by
_________. I am kept very busy both night and day.
After business hours I have gone to preaching every evening
but one, I have heard __________ twice; today I was at the
______________________ meeting and to night I intend to go t hear
________________ lecture if I can find the church but I judge it
is 4 or 6 miles off. I have enjoyed much peace in _____________
the Savior was never more ________ to me. Amidst the busy
thousands of this great city I am alone with Christ.
I am glad dearest that you are better. Kind rememberances to all.
Kiss the little ones for Pa and think that I kiss you
