No. 313. PSALM 1.
1 Blessed is the man that walketh no,
in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standet
in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in th
seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of thi
Lord; and in his law doth he meditate da,
and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree plante(
by the rivers of water, that bringeth fortl
his fruit in his season; his leaf also shal
not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shal
prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so; but are liki
the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not starn
in the judgment, nor sinners in the congre.
gation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of thE
righteous: but the way of the ungod
shall perish.

5 The foolish shall not stand in th3
sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity,
6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak
leasing: the Lord will abhor the blood3
and de-eitful man.
7 But as for me, I will come into thl
house in the multitude of thy mercy: an

t 1 0 Lord, how excellent is thy name in
h all the earthi who hast set thy glory
above the heavens.
2 Out otthe mouths of babes andsuck-
lings hast thou ordained strength, because
of thine enemies, that thou mightest still
the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the
work of thy fingers, the moon and the
stars, which thou hast ordained;
11 4 What is man, that thou art mindfulof
him? andtheson of man, that thou visitest
him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower
than the angels, and hast crowned him
with glory and honor.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion
over the works of tly hands; thou hast
put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the
beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of
the sea, and whatsoever passeth through
the paths of the seas,
9 0 Lord, our Lord, how excellent is
thy name in all the earth!
