) ~esponsive eabings. No. 309. Morning Praise. 1. Hymn No. 264. Myfaith looks up to Tee. 2. Responsive Reading. LEADER-O Lord, thou bat searched me and known me. RESPONSE-Thou knoweet my down- sitting and mine uprising; thou under- standest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, 0 Lord, thou knowest it al- together. Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or whither shal I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the_ light are both alike to thee. Search me, 0 God, and know myheart: try me, and know my thoughts. And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way ever- lasting. How precious also are thy thoughts nto me, OGodl How great is the sum of themi If I should count them they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. 8. Hymn No. 92. When upon life's billows you are tempest-tossed. No. 310, Prayer. 1. Hymn No. 200. Even me, even me. 2. Responsive Reading. LEAE-If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him. RESPONSE- Cofess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may'be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous mat? availeth much. Whatsoever ye ask the Father in my name, he will give it you; hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: Ask, and ya shall receive, that your joy may be full. Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Praying always with all prayer and sup- plication in the Spirit, and watching there- unto with all perseverance and suppfication for all saints. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. S. Hymn No. 222. What a Friend we hav in Jesus. ATI El
