Practice The Here and Now by Edith Nash American poet and author Edith Nash narrates her life stories and experiences with wit and wisdom in Practice: The Here and Now. Through poetry and prose, she reflects on childhood memories from life in the Chicago suburbs, her education, her Jewish heritage, and her relationships with family and friends. Nash was a retired educator who cofounded and worked at the Georgetown Day School, a private school in Washington, D.C. Nash also worked with Native American issues during her life. She passed away November 9, 2003, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, at the age of 90.
