 Brazil.—Cia. de Ferro Ligas da Bahia, BASA reached an agreement with
several S.A. (FERBASA) continued to be Brazil's Japanese groups (Mitsui &
Co. and others) principal producer of chromite and ferro- to form a new company,
called Cia. de Michromium. Early in 1972, following a pe- neraçAo
Serra da Jacobina (SERJANA), nod of negotiations initiated in 1971, FER-
