General Script Collection, 1906-1988

Scope and Content Note

The General Script Collection consists primarily of scripts although other materials such as stories, treatments, correspondence, and miscellany are also included. Many of these items were separated from other collections in which they were thought to be extraneous. In most cases their provenance can no longer be determined. In order to preserve those scripts which were felt to have an intrinsic value, they have been gathered in this General Script Collection.

Materials are listed by production title; they are listed in order as they are boxed and this is alphabetical only in sections. In addition the media for which the work was written plus appropriate production information is noted when known. This register serves as a box list and provides some additional information regarding the authors and dates of individual scripts.
