Two albums containing salted paper prints of prominent Wisconsin men and one woman, published by Madison, Wisconsin photographers Johnson and Fuller in 1856. The subjects are all individuals who had settled in Wisconsin during the 1830s. Photographs are tipped into the albums and include caption information. The two albums generally contain the same images though they are bound in a different order in each album; a few images are not included in both albums. These volumes are from an edition of one hundred published by Johnson and Fuller, nearly all of which were destroyed in a fire.
