Reels 1 and 2 contain indexes. An A-Z index for records in archival custody, 1853-1906, is followed by a second index (1842-1904) whose entries do not have corresponding records in archival custody. The order of each index is alphabetical by surname. Volume and page numbers are located in the upper right hand corner of each index card.
Reels 3 and 4 contain Declarations of Intention, Petitions for Naturalization, and Certificates of Naturalization. The records here are not complete. Some volumes and some pages are missing.
