Papers, mainly 1964-1971, of Alida White Sherman, a psychologist who collaborated with the blacklisted Hollywood director Herbert Biberman in the writing of several screenplays. Included are variant scripts for the motion picture Slaves (1969) and other projects on which they worked together, professional and romantic correspondence exchanged between Biberman and Sherman (although largely from Biberman to Sherman); and poetry by Biberman, mainly 1964-1971.
