BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS ON HILTON HANNA, SCRIPTWRITER FOR WPA RADIO PROGRAMS IN WISCONSIN
: Hilton Hanna born of an Irish father and a Haitian mother, left Haiti and became a U.S. citizen. Attended the University of Wisconsin, where he was a leading debater in the early thirties. Became certified under WPA as a scriptwriter for WPA radio programs, broadcast over seventeen Wisconsin stations.
