The Papers consist chiefly of correspondence with civil rights organizations (Students for a Democratic Society, Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, Northern Student Movement) between 1963 and 1965 concerning social action projects; personal notes; and clippings on the economic situation in the United States. Also included is an address file containing the names of persons and organizations involved in the civil rights movement, labor unions, and publishers of radical journals.
