Abstract:

Records concerning administration, faculty, accreditation, the curriculum, students and alumnae, and historical and miscellaneous files; plus photographs, newsclippings, and lantern slides. The collection documents the school from its inception in 1894 to its final year in 1969. It provides information on the Daughters of Charity; St. Mary's Hospital; a variety of medical and nursing topics; and detailed records of students' disciplinary, scholastic, and clinical failures. Milwaukee SC 69 contains miscellaneous materials on the 1972 dedication of a historical marker at the school.
