Records of an organization promoting the Green Bay, Wisconsin area as a commercial, mercantile, and manufacturing center, including Board of Directors minutes and files, subject and committee files documenting industrial and commercial development, downtown business promotion, urban renewal and beautification projects, political activities, tourism development, and community service activities. Of special note is the documentation of the impact on Green Bay of the Green Bay Packers and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, as well as records from Advance, a program designed to promote industrial development in Green Bay, and from Leadership Green Bay, created for training business and community leaders. Also present are development plans for the Port of Green Bay, as well as records of two organizations that merged with the Chamber of Commerce--the De Pere Chamber of Commerce and the Brown County Taxpayers Association.
