Sturgeon Bay Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company Records, 1916-1941

Scope and Content Note

The Sturgeon Bay Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company Papers are organized into four correspondence and one business series, plus one series of bound volumes. For the most part, the papers have been left in their original order. Each of the first five series covers a chronological period, while the folders within each series are arranged alphabetically. The following contents list indicates all folder titles within each series. In most cases, the correspondence and other material within each folder is arranged chronologically by year. Series V contains business records for the period 1920-1926, 1939, and includes annual reports, inventories, and tax papers.

In addition the collection includes eight volumes of business records including the Rieboldt and Wolter Company journals, 1916-1919, inventories, and employee records and time books.
