Abstract:
This collection contains the papers of Belden H. Paulson, a local leader in citizen action, economic improvement and sustainable living in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. These papers document his career with two organizations during the years 1974-1988: Goals for Greater Milwaukee 2000 and the Center for Urban Community Development, affiliated with the University of Wisconsin-Extension and later the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Records include conference planning files, correspondence, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, and reports. There is very little documentation of Paulson's other professional or avocational activities, or of his personal life.
