Abstract: This is a Milwaukee Public Television special production that focuses on the challenges of living with AIDS as discussed by four HIV patients: Tracey Whitmore, Dale Lyn Brewster, Maurice Jenkins, and David Kierstyn. Topics include the increasing number of women living with HIV, successful HIV treatment, prevention strategies, and the importance of mental health support. Participants include ARCW Executive Director Doug Nelson, Milwaukee Health Commissioner Bevan Baker, ARCW physician David Fisk, MD, ARCW manager of Lifepoint needle exchange Johnson Banks, Red Cross AIDS advocate Darrel Davidson, author of the book On The Down Low J.L. King, and ARCW Behavioral Health Director Karen Godferson.
