Series: 3. Passenger Cars, 1907-1975
: These records comprise all passenger car historical documents, drawings, and
photographs. Each folder is labeled with the car type (e.g. Coach, Baggage,
Express, etc.) and the assigned two, three, or four digit car number.
Specific “car names” are included in quotes after the car number(s) when
available. Passenger car records are quite complete from the 1930s through
the 1960s. These records document a car’s purpose, any modifications done to
the car including renumbering and intended use (such as coach cars converted
to baggage cars) and likewise include the dates on which such changes were
completed.
