The Women's League of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee was formed in 1956. Membership
was open to current and retired female faculty and staff and to the wives of current,
retired, or deceased faculty and staff. The league voted to have the organization dissolved
in June 1987 due to decreasing membership; however, the Senior-itas interest group continued
after the league's dissolution.
