The electronic files from accession 2010-034 were largely harvested from the office and
home office computers of Carlos Santiago, and thus represent the Chancellor's personal
working files. Upon Santiago's resignation in 2010, Chancellor's Office staff collected
these work-related computers in accordance with Wisconsin Public Records law and delivered
the machines to the Archives for harvesting. Files were transferred directly from the hard
drives of the computers to UWM Libraries' Server space.
