Most records date from 1920 to 1945. The collection includes correspondence, primarily of a business nature, records of the companies in which Yawkey and Woodson invested or held administrative positions, and material on lands and leases owned, particularly in Wisconsin and Oregon. The companies file includes correspondence and related material, a variety of financial records, maps of property and timber tracts, records of timber and of timber cruises, stock and tax records, assay and production reports, and leases and other legal documents.
