Subseries: 6H. Mary Lynne Bird, 1980-1998
: This subseries includes the papers of Mary Lynne Bird, the director from
1983-2010. Aside from a few files on personnel and the new location of
the AGS, it mainly consists of the "Chronological Correspondence File",
which is carbon copies of Bird's outgoing correspondence, arranged in
chronological order without any responses. This subseries only partially
represents Bird's papers. The remainder of them are in New York, as are
her successors' papers.
