Scope and Content Note: This subseries consists of the correspondence of Cyrus C. Adams (1849-1928). While Adams was a council member briefly, his papers mainly represent his editorial work as an assistant editor (1902-1908) and, later, editor (1908-1915) of the Bulletin of the American Geographical Society. Adams worked as an editor at the New York Sun as well.
