Antarctic, 1906-1976 Scope and Content Note: This subseries encompasses materials on expeditions to Antarctica, by explorers such as Lincoln Ellsworth, George Wilkins, and Richard Byrd, including their correspondence, photographs, and reports relating to their various expeditions as well as other general items. In some cases, there is information on how the AGS used the results from these expeditions for their own maps and publications.
