Abstract:
Collection consists of posters relating to the war effort of the United States during World War I. Included are posters printed by the United States government, foreign governments, and private charitable organizations such as the Red Cross and the YMCA. Topics include social and economic issues, recruitment, and war relief campaigns. There are several posters that were printed only in Wisconsin. The numbers of these posters are: 3535, 3586, 3590, 3591, 3592, 3605, 3616, 3858, 4009, and 4010.
