Scope and Content Note

These materials were taken from several collections and consist of English and Polish versions of the constitution and by-laws (revised version, 1967); a pamphlet of PNA rules of election of officers and delegates (1967); and minutes of national conventions (1918, 1959). Publications of the PNA education department for boy and girl scouts include a songbook (1938); songbook and instruction manual; and a scouting and first aid handbook. There is also a printed financial report of the education department (1930). Other printed materials include two Christmas carol lists; a 1977 PNA history, In the Mainstreams of American Life; American Pioneers from Poland (1975); a 1971 mass program from the PNA convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and various jubilee albums and programs of local PNA chapters and affiliates, including the Ladies of Polish Pioneers (Towarzystwo Cory Polkich Pionierek), Group 1961, (Milwaukee, 1942); Thaddeus Kosciuszko Society, Group 646 (Thorp, Wisconsin, 1953); Polonia Society, Group 3100 (Milwaukee, 1971, 1976); and PNA Lodge 534 (Cudahy, Wisconsin).
