Abstract:

The collection includes oral history interviews with female artists in the visual, literary, and performing arts who were living in Wisconsin at the time of the interview. A University of Wisconsin Teaching Improvement Grant funded the cooperative project at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, UW-Oshkosh, and UW-Green Bay.

Access Restrictions

For some interviews, there exist both original copies (in either audio reel or audio cassette format) and access copies (in audio cassette format). As a preservation measure, researchers must use the access copies, when they exist, rather than the originals.

There are no other access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all members of the public in accordance with state law.
