Organizational records include Executive Board and Council meeting minutes,
membership lists with addresses, Treasurer reports and ledgers, annual handbooks,
and the organization’s “Excerpts” newsletter. International contains records related
to the committees’ annual projects such as country studies, Pennies for Friendship,
and work through the Associated Country Women of the World of which Racine County
Home and Community Education was a part. Four scrapbooks hold records and program
handouts from 1947-1951. Four scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings featuring club
members and activities, photographs and program handouts from 1951-1979. A
description of the annual activities was recorded on a cassette tape by a homemaker
sometime after 1975.
