The collection consists mainly of correspondence and research regarding site
selection. Site Selection Files, Miscellaneous Files, and Southeastern Citizens
Alliance follow the process and also bring into play the conflict that evolved as
citizens of Kenosha became displaced by the final selection. Another feature of the
collection is the comparison of UW-Parkside and UW-Green Bay which was also being
built at this time. Fundraising efforts found in the Miscellaneous Files and
Committee Files provide lists of names of prominent Kenosha citizens of that time.
