Administrative Files, 1976-2006 Scope and Content Note: Records of the overall administrative functions of IUHP, including the health centers and programs developed by the collaborative efforts of both IUHP and UWM's School of Nursing. Annual reports from IUHP to the College of Nursing, IUHP newsletters, and publicity and programming material created between 1994 and 2006 comprise a large portion of this series. Records of interest in this series include those from the Community Nursing Center, which existed on campus and served the local community, and from the Riverwest/Pierce Community Center, which offered programs aimed at improving the health and well-being of Riverwest community members. Also included are records of IUHP's public health collaborations with the Milwaukee Health Department and Milwaukee Public Schools. The administrative records also include articles authored by Dr. Sally Lundeen and others, describing research activities and case studies concerning IUHP activities and initiatives.

	Subseries: b. Grant Files, 1984-2007 Scope and Content Note Records of program proposals submitted by IUHP to several granting agencies. Most of the grants in this series are from UWM's School of Nursing: Division of Nursing and the Helen Bader Foundation, Inc. Grants from the Patrick and Anna M. Cudahy Fund, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, United Way Community Initiatives Fund, and the St. Anthony Foundation are also included. In most cases, the agencies funded projects across two or more of the IUHP's sites, and so were filed by granting agency rather than site. The agencies funded a variety of IUHP's nursing and family support programs and the beginning operations of the Silver Spring Community Nursing Center. Records from the Wisconsin Area Health Education Center System (AHEC), a consortium of health professionals from community nursing centers and clinics across Wisconsin, are also contained in this series. The Milwaukee and surrounding AHEC chapters received funding from the state of Wisconsin and provided additional recreational, educational, and nursing services at the Silver Spring Community Nursing Center and the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center.	⇧
