The “TWITAS Inter-Ethnic Bilingual Children's Theater Workshop,” a single day event as part of the “World Theatre Day Celebration,” hosted throughout that weekend at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club. This workshop was held in the Basement Theatre, and presented by the Third World Institute of Theatre Art Studies (TWITAS) in conjunction with U.S. Center of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) and Communication Center of the Population Institute. It featured two productions, The Legend of the Mango Tree directed by Lily Mendoza and Mi Casa directed by Luisa Reyes.
