The Racine Armenian–American 50 Year Club was organized in 1972 by a group of
Racine-born Armenians who were celebrating their 50th birthdays. The club held a
biennial reunion dinner from 1972 until 1998. The first dinner, held at the Racine
YMCA, attracted 67 participants. In addition to the reunion, the club organized
showings of films depicting Armenian heritage and culture.
