: Correspondence (mainly 1935-1939), applications, and reports concerning the administration of WPA and other federal relief agency projects in Wisconsin. The majority of the correspondence is that of M.W. Torkelson of the State Planning Board who exercised overall supervision of Works Progress Administration projects in Wisconsin. Included are photographs of WPA projects and 1937 exhibition of WPA handicrafts. The file also contains a large file of applications and extension applications for WPA projects.
