The pressure-sensitive cap has been detached from this landmine and the explosive and detonator have been removed. It is just on of perhaps 5 million landmines and UXO still polluting Cambodia's countryside.

This construction houses a number of Cambodia's most famed artists, singers and musicians. It is believed that soon this massive building complex will be torn down for development, while its hundreds of residents will be relocated or made homeless.

More than 90% of Cambodians are Buddhist. Here a man sits in quiet reverence at the ancient stone temple Bayon, built centuries ago under Jayavarman VII during the Angkor dynasty.
