Records including annual reports, treasurers' reports, records of congregation women's groups and of vestry meetings, and printed histories of the congregation and of the Episcopal Diocese of Eau Claire.
Biography/HistorySt. Paul's Episcopal Church traces its origins to missionary activity in the Hudson, Wisconsin area as early as 1850. For many years, services were held in such locations as private homes, halls, and churches of other denominations. The present church building was completed and dedicated in 1884. Collection Scope and Content NoteThe collection contains records of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, documenting various activities of the church and its related organizations. Included are financial and general parish records, 1949-1968; records of St. Paul's Episcopal Churchwomen (formerly St. Paul's Guild), 1949-1967; and records of St. Cecilia's Guild, a group of younger women which provided music for the church, 1914-1924. In addition, the collection contains printed histories of St. Paul's Church and of the Episcopal Diocese of Eau Claire. Additional Descriptive Information
