A  Well Known Manitowoc Officer who Participated in Many of the Bloodiest
Battles, and Two Sisters from              that City Who Served
                                                           as Red Cross Nurses.
1. Lieut. Erwin K. Fanta, a vetran of Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel, the Argonne
Forests, and other hard fought battles.
2. The Krieger sisters, two Manitowsoc girls who both served as Red Cross
nurses. Olga being stationed in France since May, 1917, while Ida wxvas stationed
at St.
Louis.
