                It wav stated previously in this report that no one person
or group
      is responsible for the progress being made in the agriculture of this
county.
      The editors of news papers serving our farmers have played an important
role in
      the agricultural programs carried out the past year. Their generous
2llotment
      of space for newrs and information articles has greatly aided many
individual
      f'm' families.
                This'office is grateful to the following weeklies: The Independence
      News Wave, Oalesville Republican, Whitehall Times, Tri-County News,
Arcadia
      News-.Leadei, Blair Press, Zttrick Advance and the dailies, Winona
Republican
      Herald, La Crosse tribune and the 3Wu Claire Leader, for their assistance.
                 We also appreciate'the cooperation and help of local corrospondents,
      Mrs. Nora Magales, Pigeon Palsl, and Mrs. Lester Danuser, Galesville.

                 The County Soil Conservation District office located at

that
''   serious erosion problem confronting the county's farmers and businessmen,
in
       fact -everyone livinr in this county. Their cooperation has been all
that any-
       one could expect and it is appreciated very much.

                 They have been most interested in our work to bo of service
to far-
       mers. Thds interest and the help they have given to programs is appreoiateid
       very much.
                                      WE$U RADIO STATION
                 The Trompealeau County Zxtonsion office appreciates very
much their
       allotment of time. to them for the purpose of bringing to their listenors
farm
       facts of Trumpealeau County as a part of their public servico program,

                 To the Agricultural Committee, Mr. Raichle, Mr. Finner,
Mr. Scherr,
       Mr. Kopp pnd Mrs. Pattridge for the fine leadership and spirit of
cooperation.
                 To Mrs. Mabel Joos Murdock, for the fine and result getting
manner
       in which she carried out her duties. An efficient and capable Home
Agent is
       important and when one is that and cooperative too, it makes for a
more ef-
       ficient extension offices
                 To Larry Monthey, assistant agent, for his sincere effort
to aid
       lqcal farmers on soils and erosion problems. Also his aid on other
programs
       effecting Trempealeau County agriculture.
                 To Miss Brom for the capable manner in which she has carried
put her
       duties as stenographer. Her accurate and efficieht work has done much"'for
the
       proper carrying out of projects assigaed to us My the Agricultural
Committee.
                 To Ben Z. Rusy, my supervisor from the state office, for
his consul-
