'IS LITTLE SOUVENIR is issued for the purpose of presenting to you
i. few views of some of the Pioneer Homes in Northern Wisconsin. These
)ictures show, plainer than words, what an honest industrious man can do
in a few years. The lands which are now being offered for sale to homeseekers,
and which are near to the railroads, and within easy distance of good schools
and
churches, are being purchased by a thrifty industrious class. There are neither
cy-
clones nor blizzards in this part of the country to make life miserable to
the pioneer;
but a healthy bracing climate, and rich productive soil, where abundant crops
can be
raised without fear of drouth or other undesirable contingencies.
