[From Andrew Lee]
                                                     1/l1 - 91
Dear parents!
After I again fortunately have come up into the "blessed"
woods, I am going to send you some lines so that
you see I find myself up to now amongst the living. I have
now been up here one week and I cannot other than to say
that I so far find myself well; although in the beginning it
is a little hard to accustom oneself to this "pig's life"
which a person could call it up here compared to what one
has in town.
Nevertheless I hope there will come a day of
  declaration.
Anyway times were good for lumber camp workers this
fall as it was difficult to find people. The hiring varied
from $28.00 - $40.00 per month for common work and that a
 person cannot call the worst.
I am in the same camp this winter as formerly, but the
 address is a little different.
As I have nothing else to write about now I will finish
with a greeting to you and my acquaintances.
                                Good-by!
