After two we'lks of practice the team traveled to Ocmito to giv 
battle to the gridiron s(lIlad of that place. Although outweighed com- 
si(lerably by their opponelnts, the boys pult tip a good light, Considering
the fact that ticonto had three weeks of' practice to our two.

At the end of the third week of lpractice the boys again hit the trail' 
for Peshligo to coltest with the Blue and While warriors there. The, 
game was clean and well playe(l. Although the boys hrei alened lo score 
several times, luck was against them. \Vith four men out of the regiila 
lineup due to injuries, the boys made a credilale showing.

On Satlrday, October 6, the Ora uge and ]-Black played the lh1ird 
game of the seasoo against, their old rival G ,illett on the latter's home
grounds. As a whole the team showed marked improvement in every 
way, thus much credit is due the co-ieh. Mr. Anderson. Featuros of tbhe 
game were-long end rins of from 40 to 50 yards by Clarence Coopmawr
