index dlownt to 73 per cent of pre-war

The itidex of purchasing    power in
WVisconsin was 66i per cenit of the pie-
ss tr li-vel firt May which showed a 2
poinlt decline in i-r April tnd a 12 point
dlieline bhilow  tht- high point of July,
1923.

The United States farm    pt-ice index
remtinled steady in rehlaion to April
at 74 per cent of pre-wi r while the
Wisconsin index di-elined 2 pointts atttl
i-hnnged the relationship between Wis-
ionsin and the United Statses farm
plrihs from  1 point above for Wiscon-
Sill ill Apil to 1 point below the United
Stat i-s fitriii price inidex in May.

of pre-war for the United States as a
whole. This is 10 points bhlow the pealk
of July 1933 nisd the first time snlle-
March 1933 that the ratio of prices pt:iid
to prices received has been no higher
than for the same month a year earlier.
