 Research into church history in 1946 resulted in letters from the late Mrs.
Carrie Thrall Perkins, Mrs. Lula Thrall Theiker, Mrs. Laura Brush Hale, Mr.
Merwin W. Smith, Mrs. Margaret Sutherland, and Mrs. DeLafayette Judson. 
Also, consulted were diaries of Arthur Percival Foote, memoirs of Charles
Kramer, Harney's history of WinnebagoCounty, Omro Herald articles by Mrs.
Ada Moran, the Waukau Ladies Aid Society minutes kept by Mrs. Julia Reynolds,
and church and conference records from the Rev. Arthur North.
 In Waukau's centennial year, 1946, there were also interviews with persons
now deceased to aid in writing an historical pageant.  These persons were:

Grace Palfrey, Mrs. Julia Thrall Hinderman, Mr. and Mrs. William Kaiser,

Mrs. Ida Deyoe Horne Merrill, Mrs. Eliza Judson Searles, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Gay, Mr. Earl Ballis, Mr. William Merrill and Mrs. Lillian Jannusch.
