HOW TO JUDGE LANDS.
'E BEST WAY to ascertain the possible value of lands for farming pur-
poses is to inspect the growing crops in fields and gardens lying as near
as possible to the lands in question. There are now so many settlers in
Northern Wisconsin that the newcomer can in about every instance gain material
