        Did you'a1ver sit along a lakoe sho~rt at
night?  Well, do itt  You will hear'the water
slapping the bank and a faint song of.the wavos
will come floating out to you.   first-it will
male you foel lonoly, then as you sitithere a
feeling of joy will come over you.   The lalke
will ripple and ruffle and you will think it
is trying to talk to you.
        Once in a while a fish'will sp5ash and
then tho quietness will change until the echo
                                           * .
dies down.  Thon the slap, slap, slap of the
water on the shore is all you can hear.
